172 participants from around the world attended this year's CEMA SUMMIT held on March 22nd featuring keynotes by Bishop Joseph Perry and David Carollo, Director of the World Apostolate of Fatima, USA. Other contributors included Bishop Pierre-Olivier Tremblay, Fr. Lawrence Lew, Umberto Angeloni, Marian Mulhall, Barb Ernster as well as a number of CEMA members.
Put in musical terms, this year's CEMA SUMMIT birthed "A Divine Symphony"* written by The Master Composer, orchestrated by His Maestro, "Mary, Mother of the Church," and initiated through BASE. (Bishops, Apostolates, Shrines, Everywhere)
As symphonies are usually written in four movements, CEMA's three "Calls" leading to the Eucharist; the Source and Summit, represent the dynamic evangelistic efforts of the Church's Bishops and Lay Apostolates (See Apostolicam actuositatem - Decree on the Apostolate of Lay People) in Shrines; the “concert halls” of the Church established by local ordinaries often at the insistence of Mary, Mother of the Church, during her approved apparitions..
* Symphony is derived from the Greek word συμφωνία (symphōnía), meaning "agreement or concord of sound" - (See Matthew 18:19)
